NOTIFICATION NO. 47 (RE-2000) 1997-2002

NEW DELHI , the 21^st December, 2000

S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation ) Act, 1992 ( No. 22 of 1992 ) read with Paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002(incorporating amendment made upto 31.3.2000), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 1997-2002 published on 31^st March, 1997- ( RE-98) as amended from time to time :-

In entry at ITC(HS) Code No. 0703 (1) of Schedule-2, Table-B relating to export of Onions ( All varieties other than Bangalore rose Onions and Krishnapuram Rose Onions ), the last date for shipment of 1.5 Lakh M. Tonnes of Onions released vide Notification No. 31 ( Re-2000)/1997-2002 dated 24^th August, 2000 and Notification No. 35 ( RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated 25^th Sept., 2000 is extended from 15.12.2000 to

“15^th January, 2001.”

This issues in Public interest.
