NOTIFICATION NO. 40 (RE-2001) 1997-2002

NEW DELHI, the 5th December, 2001

S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation ) Act, 1992 ( No. 22 of 1992 ) read with Paragraphs 1.3 and 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998 ) and as amended from time to time :-

In continuation of Notification No. 32(RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated the 12th October, 2001, allowing export of 50,000MTs of onion upto 30th November, 2001, it has been decided to extend the shipment period for export of the unutilized balance quantity of onion out of the 50,000 MTs released vide above Notification upto 31st December, 2001.

3. This issues in Public interest.
