The Government of India issued Notification No. 21 (RE-2004) on February 10, 2005, making amendments to the earlier Notification No. 20 (RE-2004), dated January 28, 2005. The amendment revised the import quantities for Stone Aggregate and River Sand under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. The revised quantities are now set at 2,70,000 metric tons for Stone Aggregate and 3,00,000 metric tons for River Sand. This change was made under the powers conferred by the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy. The notification was issued in the public interest to clarify and adjust import guidelines for these items.

NEW DELHI DATED THE 10TH FEBRUARY,2005

S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 2.1 and 2.29 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification No.20 /( 2004-2009) dated 28.1.2005 :-

The quantities of Stone Aggregate and River Sand stand revised as follows: –

Stone Aggregate: 2,70,000 MT

River Sand: 3,00,000 MT
