Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued Notification No. 15/2024-25, dated June 5, 2024, amending the previous Notification No. 46 from November 30, 2023. This amendment extends the export period of Broken rice to Senegal and Gambia through the National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL) by an additional six months, now until November 30, 2024. All other provisions of the original notification remain unchanged. The amendment is made under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and relevant sections of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023.

Subject: Export of food commodities through National Cooperative Exports Limited (NOEL)

S.O. 2207(E). – In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, the Central Government amends Notification No. 46 dated 30.11.2023 specific to the export of Broken Rice to Senegal and Gambia through NCEL, as under: –

The time period for export of Broken rice to Senegal and Gambia for the quantity notified vide Notification No. 46 dated 30.11.2023 has been further extended for 6 months, till 30th November 2024.

Effect of the Notification:

Notification No. 46 dated 30.11.2023 has been amended to the extent that the period for export of Broken rice for the quantity already notified vide Notification No. 46 dated 30.11.2023 specific to Senegal and Gambia through NOEL has been extended for further 6 months up to 30th November, 2024. Rest of the Notification No 46 dated 30.11.2023 remains unchanged.
