Subject:Regarding last date for submission of applications for claiming benefits under Target Plus Scheme 2004-05.

Attention is invited to para 3.2.5 (IV) of the Handbook of Procedures Vol.I 2004-09 according to which the last date for filing applications for claiming benefits under Target Plus Scheme is 31st December 2005.

2. Representations have been received from various quarters seeking extension of the last date for filing of applications for claiming benefits under Target Plus Scheme citing delay in obtaining documents from banks and in collecting information from supporting manufacturers / suppliers.

3. The matter has been considered and it has been decided that the last date for submission of application for claiming benefit under Target Plus Scheme will now be 31st March 2006. It is also clarified that this is the last and final extension of last date and no further request will be entertained in this regard.

4. This issues with the approval of competent authority.
