This notification amends earlier notification 31/2000 so as to change A/E into Central Excise Intelligence
Notification No. 69/2000-Customs (N.T.)
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No.31/2000-CUS.(N.T.), dated the 9th May, 2000, namely:-
In the said notification, for the words ” Directorate General of Anti-Evasion” at the two places where they occur, the words “Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence” shall be substituted.
