S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, Mangalore to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on the following adjudicating authorities mentioned in column (3) of the Table below in respect of Show Cause Notices in column 2 of the said Table.
