Notification No. 105/2008-Customs (N.T.)

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Customs Tariff (Identification and Assessment of Safeguard Duty) Rules, 1997, and in supersession of notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 17/2007-Customs (N.T.) issued vide G.S.R. No. 104(E) dated the 22nd February, 2007, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri S.S. Rana-I, Chief Commissioner, as the Director General (Safeguard) for the purposes of the said Rules.
