Notification No. 104/2006-Customs

G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 21/2002-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2002 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R.118 (E), dated the 1st March, 2002, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table, –

(i) after S.No. 480 and the entries relating thereto, the following S.No and the entries shall be added, namely: –

(1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6)
“480A. 3907 40 00 Polycarbonates  5%  -“;

(ii) after S.No. 526 and the entries relating thereto, the following S.Nos and the entries shall be added, namely: –

(1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6)
“526 A. 2907 23 00 Bis-phenol A Nil
 526 B.  2910 30 00  Epichlorohydrin 2%  -“.

Note: The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 118(E), dated the 1st March, 2002 and was last amended by notification No.97/2006-Customs, dated the 6th September, 2006 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R 545 (E), dated the 9th September, 2006.
