Notification No. 19/2004-Customs

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 146/94-Customs, dated the 13th July, 1994, namely:-

  In the said notification, in the Table, against S. No.8,

(i)    in column (2), for item no. (3), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“(3) Skeet or trap or double trap machine with acoustic release”; and

(ii)     in column (3), in condition (a), for clause (ii) the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“(ii) the District Rifle Association which is controlled by, or affiliated to, the State Rifle Association;”.

Note:- The principal notification No.146/94-Customs dated the 13th July, 1994 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide G.S.R. 575(E), dated the 13th July, 1994  and was last amended by notification No.172/2003-Customs, dated the 2nd  December, 2003 [G.S.R 920 (E), dated the 2nd December, 2003].
