The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), through Circular No. IBBI/PPIRP/95/2026 dated 2 June 2026, has specified standardized formats for various forms required under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Pre-packaged Insolvency Resolution Process) Regulations, 2021, as amended by the Third Amendment Regulations, 2026. Exercising its powers under Sections 196 and 240 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, the Board notified fourteen forms covering key stages of the pre-packaged insolvency resolution process (PPIRP). These include forms relating to written consent, creditor lists, approval of appointment terms of the resolution professional, initiation approval, authorized representative consent, declarations by directors or partners, avoidance transactions, insolvency professional reports, public announcements, claims, invitations for resolution plans, compliance certificates, termination applications, and applications for vesting management with the resolution professional. The prescribed formats aim to ensure uniformity, transparency, procedural consistency, and regulatory compliance in PPIRP proceedings.

Subject – Formats under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Pre-packaged Insolvency Resolution Process) Regulations, 2021.
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Pre-packaged Insolvency Resolution Process) Regulations, 2021 (PPIRP Regulations), as amended by the IBBI (Pre-Packaged Insolvency Resolution Process) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2026 specify various forms relating to the process to be notified by Board through circular.
