No. HQ-13062/4/2021-AUTH-II (No. 2 of 2023).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) and sub-clauses (f) of sub-section (2) of Section 54 read with Section 8 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 as amended vide the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Act, 2019 (No. 14 of 2019) and Regulation 12(7) of the Aadhaar (Authentication and Offline Verification) Regulations, 2021 hereby makes the following amendment in Regulation 3(1) of the Aadhaar (Pricing of Aadhaar Authentication Services) Regulations, 2021, namely:—
Part I
PRELIMINARY
1. Short title and commencement.—
(1) These regulations may be called the Aadhaar (Pricing of Aadhaar Authentication Services) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2023 (No. 2 of 2023).
(2) These regulations shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette and shall be applicable upon authentication services rendered from 01st April, 2023.
Part II
2. Amendment of Regulation 3(1): In Regulation 3(1) of the principal Regulations, “15 days” may be substituted as “30 days”, wherever mentioned.
