123 Companies applied for striking off their names with Registrar of Telangana

The Office of the Registrar of Companies, Telangana, Hyderabad, has issued a strike-off notice for 123 Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs). This notice is pursuant to the provisions of the Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) Act, 2008, and the LLP Rules, 2009. LLPs have applied for striking off their names from the register, as per Section 75 and Rule 37(1)(b) of the LLP Rules.

LLPs can apply for strike off under Rule 37(1)(b) of the LLP Rules, 2009, which allows for dissolution voluntarily by the LLPs themselves.  The list of 123 LLPs seeking strike off has been published on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) website for public information, as mandated by Rule 37(2). Interested parties have one month from the publication date to raise objections. If no objections are received, the names of these LLPs will be struck off from the Register and published in the official Gazette. Upon Gazette publication, the LLPs will be dissolved, and their legal existence will cease.

LLP strike off is a formal process governed by the LLP Act and Rules. The Registrar of Companies, Telangana, Hyderabad, has taken steps to ensure transparency by publishing the list of LLPs seeking strike off and inviting objections from stakeholders. It’s crucial for affected LLPs and interested parties to understand the implications of this process and take necessary actions within the stipulated timeframe.

(1) Notice is hereby given that 123 LLPs (List enclosed) have made application in Form-24 to the Registrar, for striking off their names from the register, pursuant to sub-rule (1) (b) of Rule 37 of LLP Rules, 2009 and read with Section 75 of the LLP Act, 2008.

(2) Pursuant to sub-rule (2) of Rule 37 of LLP Rules, 2009, the list of 123 LLP names is hereby placed on the website (mca.gov.in) for information of the public for a period of one month.

(3) Notice is hereby given that unless a cause to the contrary is shown within the time of one month, the names of the 123 LLPs (mentioned in the enclosed list) shall be struck off from the Register and the said LLPs names will be published in the official Gazette and shall be dissolved on such Gazette publication.
