S.O. 1833(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub‑section (2) of section 1 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017 (1 of 2018), the Central Government hereby appoints the 07th May, 2018 as the date on which the following provisions of the said Act shall come into force, namely :-

| 15. | First proviso to clause (i) of section 80 and clause (ii) of Section 80; |
| 16. | Section 83; |
| 17. | Sections 86 to 89 (both inclusive). |
