NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th May, 2020

G.S.R. 311(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (f) and (g) of sub-section (2) of section 29A, read with Section 28C and Sub-section (1) of section 28D of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (38 of 1949), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Chartered Accountants Procedure of Meetings of Quality Review Board, and Terms and Conditions of Service and allowances of the Chairperson and members of the Board Rules, 2006, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.-

(1) These rules may be called the Chartered Accountants Procedure of Meetings of Quality Review Board, and Terms and Conditions of Service and allowances of the Chairperson and members of the Board (Amendment) Rules, 2020.

(2), They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Chartered Accountants Procedure of Meetings of Quality Review Board, and Terms and Conditions of Service and allowances of the Chairperson and members of the Board Rules, 2006, in sub-rule 8, for sub-rule (1), the following sub-rule shall be substituted namely:-

“(1) The tenure of the Chairperson and the Members of the Board shall be three years”.

G.S.R. 312(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28A of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (38 of 1949), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, published in the Gazatte of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 38 (E), dated the 19th January, 2011, namely:-

2. In the said notification, for serial numbers (7), (8), (9), (10) and (11) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall respectively be substituted, namely:-

“(7) Chartered Accountant, Durgesh Kumar Kabra Fellow Chartered Accountant -Member
(8) Chartered Accountant, Dayaniwas Sharma Fellow Chartered Accountant -Member
(9) Chartered Accountant, Sushil Kumar Goyal Fellow Chartered Accountant -Member
(10) Chartered Accountant, Pramod Kumar Boob Fellow Chartered Accountant -Member
(11) Chartered Accountant, Pramod Jain Fellow Chartered Accountant -Member
