ICAI Members! Check Your Membership and Fee Status

It is a matter of great concern that Membership of a large number of members could not be renewed for the year 2017-18due to non-payment or short-payment of Membership Fee and/ or COP Fees across the country and in the Western Region. Hectic professional engagements, travel schedules, applicability of GST on membership fees and increase in fees are found to be major contributing factors. Please make use of e-Services on www.icai.org in this regard.

Members can also check the status of their membership through the IVR System at 022-33671400 and selecting options as follows (1) Dial 1 for Auto System Reply, (2) For Member Dial 1, (3) To continue in English, Press 1, (4) For Membership Related Press 1, (5) Enter 6 Digit Membership Number, (6) Confirm it by dialling 1 and (7) For membership Fee paid status, press 2. The IVRS would inform the fee status.

In case you find that your Membership/ COP is not active, please ensure that (a) you pay the membership and COP Fees in full along with restoration fee of Rs.1,200/- plus 18% GST on amount hence paid and (b) file duly filled-in and signed Form 9 for Membership Restoration and/ or Form 101 for COP Restoration, with the WRO at BKC, Mumbai.

We may incidentally mention that there are many cases, where members have paid the fees in full along with restoration fee but have not filed Form 9. Do file the same at the earliest to make your membership active.

While the last date to restore your membership without a break is 31-Mar-18, early restoration would not only restore your membership but also facilitate filing with MCA and other regulatory portals.
