26-08-2010- Details of persons who had been found guilty of professional misconduct specified in the First Schedule read with Sections 21 & 22 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (pre-amended) and whose names as members have been removed from the Register of members of ICAI for the period mentioned against each of them in accordance with the decision of the Council of the ICAI taken under sub – section [4] of Section 21 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949.

The above list does not contain the cases where the members concerned have filed appeal in High Court concerned under Section 22A of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 against the decision of the Council taken under Section 21(4) of the said Act.
This is what we expect from the Institute, any person found guilty of the professional misconduct be punished like that. I like to request to the Institute that if somebody is informing to the Institute about the unethical practice of any member the informer name should be kept confidential. He should not be called for showing proofs of the one who is doing wrong. The Institute should find out the mistakes which were informed are they right or wrong.
