No. PR/88/2016/DD/129/2016/DC/761/2018.—In terms of the provisions of Section 21B(3) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Rule 18(17) of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigations of Professional and Other Misconduct and Conduct of Cases) Rules, 2007, the Disciplinary Committee has held CA. Shailendra Gupta (Membership No. 076543), Flat No. 1, Second Floor, Ilman Palace, 46/6, Gokhle Vihar Marg, LUCKNOW(Uttar Pradesh) 226001, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Items (6),(7) and (8) of Part I of Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 19(1) of the aforesaid Rules, ordered for removal of name of CA. Shailendra Gupta (Membership No. 076543) from the Register of Members for a period of 1(One) year and also imposed a fine of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh) only. Thereafter, aggrieved by the Order of the Disciplinary Committee, the Respondent approached the Appellate Authority in terms of Section 22G of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 and the Appellate Authority in appeal no. 30/ICAI/2022 vide its order pronounced on 12th March, 2023 has upheld the Order of the Disciplinary Committee. In pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee which is also upheld by the Appellate Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, it is hereby notified under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, that the name of said CA. Shailendra Gupta (Membership No. 076543), shall stand removed for a period of 01 (one) year with effect from 28th April, 2023.

No. PPR/P/111/2017/DD/95/TAMC/INF/2017/DC/1224/2020 .In terms of the provisions of Section 21B(3) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Rule 18(17) of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigations of Professional and Other Misconduct and Conduct of Cases) Rules, 2007, the Disciplinary Committee has held CA. Venkatramana Raghavendra (Membership No. 009063), C/o Raghavendran, Chentan Nagar, Kumpala Bypass Koetkar Post, MANGALORE(Karnataka) 575022, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clause (1) of Part II of Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 19(1) of the aforesaid Rules, imposed a fine of Rs. 5,00,000/-(Rupees Five Lakhs) only to be paid within 03(three) months and in case of default in payment of fine within stipulated time, his name be removed from the Register of Members for a period of 01(One) month. Since the Respondent has failed to pay the imposed fine within stipulated time, in pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, it is hereby notified under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, that the name of said CA. Venkatramana Raghavendra (Membership No. 009063), shall stand removed for a period of 01(One) month with effect from 28th April, 2023.

No. PPR/10/N/2013/DD/9/N/INF/2013/BOD/275/2017: In terms of the provisions of Section 21A(3) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with sub-rule (9) of Rule 14 of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigations of Professional and Other Misconduct and Conduct of Cases) Rules, 2007, the Board of Discipline has held CA. Pradeep Kumar Manglik (Membership No. 072140), S-505, 2nd Floor, Flat No. 2F, School Block, Vikas Marg, DELHI 110092, guilty of ‘Professional and Other Misconduct’ falling within the meaning of Clause (11) of Part I and Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule read with Section 22 of the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 15(1) of the aforesaid Rules ordered for removal of the name of CA. Pradeep Kumar Manglik (Membership No. 072140) from the Register of Members for a period of 3(Three) months and also imposed a fine of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh) only. Thereafter, aggrieved by the Order of the Board of Discipline, the Respondent approached the Appellate Authority in terms of the provisions of Section 22G of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. The Appellate Authority in appeal no. 10/ICAI/2022 vide its Order pronounced on 26th March, 2023 upheld the Order passed by the Board of Discipline. In pursuance thereof and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, it is hereby notified under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 that the name of said CA. Pradeep Kumar Manglik (Membership No. 072140) shall stand removed from the Register of Members for a period of 03(Three) months with effect from 28th April, 2023.

Goutam Ghanty (Membership No. 060511), Agrani Lane, Mahiskapur, Plot Benachity, DURGAPUR (West Bengal)- 713213, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clause (1) of Part II of Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 19(1) of the aforesaid Rules, imposed a fine of Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs) only to be paid within a period of 01 month and in case of default in payment of fine within stipulated time, his name be removed for a period of 1(One) month. Since the Respondent has failed to pay the imposed fine within stipulated time, in pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub­section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, it is hereby notified under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, that the name of said CA. Goutam Ghanty (Membership No. 060511), shall stand removed for a period of 01 (one) month with effect from 28th April, 2023.
