Dear Member,
Sub: Comply with the mandatory CPE hours’ requirements for the Calendar Year 2022 and block period (2020-2022) till 31st December 2022 as no further extension
The Continuing Profession Education Committee of ICAI is working relentlessly for updating the knowledge and skill set of members to remain in tandem with the latest developments taking place in the current professional scenario. We are happy to inform that many members have already complied with the CPE hours’ requirements for the Calendar Year 2022 and of the block period (2020-2022) which is going to end on 31st December, 2022.
Attention of the members who are yet to complete their CPE Hours requirements for Calendar year 2022 and of the block period (1/1/2020-31/12/2022) is drawn towards our previous e-mail dated November 29, 2022 and announcement with regard to “Complying with the Mandatory CPE hours’ requirements for the Calendar Year 2022 and of the block period (2020-2022) till 31st December 2022’ which is available at the link i.e. https://resource.cdn.icai.org/72212cpe58189.pdf
In view of the above, all the members who are yet to complete their CPE Hour requirements as above are once again requested to kindly complete the same at the earliest and latest by 31st December 2022 as no extension will be given in this regard.
Member may also refer the aforementioned announcement in context of the following:
- CPE hours requirements to be complied with by various categories of members for the block period of three years (1.1.2020 to 31.12.2022) available at the link i.e. https://www.cpeicai.org/cpe-hours-requirements/
- Details with regard to login by members to check their updated CPE hours (Structured and Unstructured).
- Details with regard to completion of Structured/ Unstructured CPE hours in online mode. It may also be noted that if a member has completed all Structured CPE hrs (as required) through physical CPE Events only in the block period/Calander year, as the case may be, then also he has complied with the requirements.
It has also been noticed that some of the members who have completed their Unstructured Learning Activities (ULAs) have not updated its details on the CPE Portal. Accordingly, it is requested to kindly update the CPE Hours credit of unstructured learning on the CPE portal, if not updated, on regular basis as per your convenience to avoid last minute hardships.

We would also like to reiterate that the CPE Committee and other CPE POUs of ICAI has been organising various Webinars/Seminars/Train the Trainer programmes in which members can participate to get CPE hours. Accordingly, please complete your CPE Hours requirements for Calendar year 2022 and Block Period (1/1/2020-31/12/2022) latest by December 31, 2022, as no extension will be provided for the same.
