The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India issued a notification dated 4 February 2026 pursuant to an order of a Division Bench of the High Court of Delhi in CHAT.A.REF 2/2018 under Section 21(6)(c) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. By order dated 23.12.2025, the Court directed removal of the name of Shri Kishan Gupta, Chartered Accountant (M. No. 084077), from the Register of Members for a period of one year after finding him guilty of “Other Misconduct” under Section 22 read with Section 21 of the Act. In compliance with the Court’s order and in terms of Section 20(2) of the Act read with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, ICAI notified that his name stands removed from the Register of Members for one year with effect from the date of publication of the notification.

Now, therefore, pursuant to the said order of the Hon’ble Delhi High Court dt. 23.12.2025 and in terms of sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the said Act read with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, it is hereby notified that the name of Shri Kishan Gupta, Chartered Accountant (M. No. 084077), stands removed from the Register of Members for period of one year w.e.f. the date of publication of this notification.
