The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) will conduct the CAT Course Part-I Examination for June 2025 on June 15, 2025. The exam will be held in an offline OMR-based format across multiple centers. It consists of two papers: Paper I (Fundamentals of Financial Accounting & Applied Business and Industrial Laws) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and Paper II (Financial Accounting-2 & Statutory Compliance) from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Each paper comprises 100 multiple-choice questions, with no negative marking.

The exam fee is ₹1,000 for inland candidates and ₹7,200 (US $80) for overseas candidates, payable online only via icmai.in. Applications must be submitted online by April 8, 2025, with no extensions. Candidates must verify personal details before submission, as changes will not be accepted after the deadline.

A minimum of 40% in each paper and an overall 50% aggregate is required to pass. Examination centers are available across India and overseas, including Bahrain, Dubai, and Muscat. 1. The examination form and examination fees will be accepted through online mode only. No offline form and offline payment will be accepted under any circumstance.

2. To fill the online examination form, students may visit the Institute’s website icmai.in and pay examination fees Rs. 1000/- (for overseas candidates Rs. 7200/- (US $ 80 X INR 90) through payment gateway by using Credit/Debit card.

3. CAT Course Part-I Examination will be conducted in Multiple Choice Questions Mode through offline OMR based from Centre.

4. All candidates/students are encouraged to appear for the CAT Course Part-I Examination through the offline OMR-based format at designated centers.

5. Each paper will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions, with each question carrying 1 mark, totaling 100 marks per paper. Each session will contain a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions for 100 marks.

6. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

7. Standard of Pass-A Candidate of CAT Course Part- I shall be declared to have passed in the Examination if he/she secures minimum 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% of total marks.

8. Last date of receipt of Examination Application forms is 8th April, 2025 (Tuesday). There will be no extension in the last date of receipt of examination application forms for June  2025 examination.

9. A candidate/student who is completing all conditions for appearing in the examination as per Regulations will only be allowed to appear for the examination.

10. Candidates/Students are requested to carefully check their details viz. spelling of their name or Father’s name, date of birth, email id and mobile number while filling the examination form. For any change in the same candidates may inform CAT Directorate at catexam@icmai.in by the last date of receipt of Examination Application form, i.e. by 8th April, 2025. Any request for change in these details received after this date shall not be entertained and CAT Directorate shall not be held responsible for the wrong credentials of the candidate/student.

11. Detailed instructions will be provided along with Admit Card.
