CAT Course Part-I Examination July 2023- Time Table & Programme

Institute of Cost Accountants of India has released the time table and program for the CAT Course Part-I Examination scheduled for July 2023. The examination will be conducted online and consist of two papers with multiple-choice questions. The examination fees of Rs. 800/- are to be paid online. Candidates must provide accurate and updated contact details during the application process. Changes to personal details can be made until June 10, 2023. The examination pattern includes no negative marking, and a candidate must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% of total marks to pass. Candidates are encouraged to appear for the examination from home using their own devices. Detailed instructions will be provided with the admit card, and candidates should regularly check the Institute’s website for further updates and queries can be addressed via email.

CAT Course Part – I Examination – July, 2023
(Multiple Choice Questions – Online home based Exam)

EXAMINATION FEES: Rs. 800/- (to be paid online only)

1. CAT Course Part-I Examination will be held on Sunday, 9^thJuly, 2023 through home based online mode. Mobile phone (smartphone only)/laptop/desktop/tab can be used to attempt the examination.

2. The Examination form and Examination fees will be accepted through online mode only. No offline form and offline payment will be accepted under any circumstance.

3. Last date of receipt of Examination Application form is 10^thJune, 2023.

4. To fill the online examination form, students may visit the Institute’s website www.icmai.in and pay examination fees Rs. 800/- through payment gateway by using Credit/Debit card.

5. Candidates/Students are instructed to provide their own current in-use correct and updated contact details viz. mobile number and Email id with all other required credentials. Otherwise student will not be permitted to apply/appear for the Examination. The Examination Link along with login user ID and pass key will be sent to the REGISTERED email id and mobile number of the candidate only, which was provided by the candidate in his/her CAT online/offline registration form.

6. Candidates/Students are requested to carefully check their details viz. spelling of their name or Father’s name, date of birth, email id and mobile number while filling the examination form. For any change in the same candidates may inform CAT Directorate at catexam@icmai.in by the last date of receipt of Examination Application form, i.e. by 10^th June, 2023. Any request for change in these details received after this date shall not be entertained and CAT Directorate shall not be held responsible for the wrong credentials of the candidate/student.

7. Examination Pattern- The CAT Course Part-I Examination shall have Multiple Choice Questions to be answered online. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

8. Standard of Pass-A Candidate of CAT Course Part- I shall be declared to have passed in the Examination if he/she secures minimum 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% of total marks.

9. All candidates/students are encouraged to appear in the CAT Course Part-I Examination through online mode using mobile/laptop/desktop/tab from their home.

10. A candidate who is fulfilling all conditions specified for appearing in examination will only be allowed to appear for examination.

11. Detailed instructions will be provided along with Admit Card.
