After receipt of comments from the National Rifle Association of India, RA shall issue licence to the applicant. The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has notified the procedures for claiming the duty credits under the Status Holder Incentive Scheme (SHIS). He has also issued a Policy Circular clarifying listing of supporting manufacturers in the duty credit scrips. He needs to clarify an important confusion regarding realisation of foreign exchange.
Attention is invited to Para 3.16 of the FTP and Public Notice No. 54/2009-14 dated 8.4.2010 which announced the procedure and application form ANF3E for filing the claim under SHIS scheme. Foroperationalising the scheme, the following has been decided.
The contracts for export of cotton yarn shall be registered with the textile commissioner prior to shipment, the notification said. Clearance of cotton yarn consignments would be cleared by the Customs after verifying that the contracts have been registered, it added.
