The 14 August, 2012 In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, as amended, read with paragraph 1.3 and paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2009-14, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule – I (Imports) of the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2009-14 as under:
This amendment incorporates additional raw materials in existing SION at H-97. Additional Import Items namely PP Granules, LLDPE Granules, PP Granules for lamination/coating, PE Liner, Thread, Filler Cord/Rope, Packing Materials have been allowed at Serial Number 2(b) (ii), 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 respectively.
As per Para 4 of Notification No. 77 dated 28.09.2011, export of edible oils is permitted only in branded consumer packs of upto 5 Kgs, within a ceiling of 10,000 tons, for the period 01.11.2011 to 31.10.2012. Now, with immediate effect, even such export of edible oils is prohibited. Accordingly, Para 4 of Notification No. 77 dated 28.09.2011 stands withdrawn.
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009- 2014 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol. 1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. 2, 2009-2014.
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby amends para 2.13.2.A, 3.6.1, 3.10.3, 3.11.7, 3.11.8, 4.19, 5.10 and 5.23 of the Handbook of Procedures Vol I (RE 2012)/ 2009-14. This will be deemed to have come into effect on 5.6.2012.
