Attention is invited to Policy Circular 7 dated 07.05.2008 wherein it was, inter alia, stipulated that “In all past cases where Export Obligation Discharge Certificate (EODC) has not been obtained by 30-06-2008 and where vehicles were not registered as Tourist Vehicles, EPCG authorization holders will get them registered as Tourist Vehicles, by 31.08.2008.

Public Notice No. 9 (RE-2012)/2009-2014 Additional quantity of 4,476 MTs of raw sugar is permitted to be exported to USA under TRQ by M/s. Indian Sugar Exim Corporation Ltd. Earlier 8,300 MTs of raw sugar was allocated for export to USA under TRQ.
Requests have been received from various stakeholders for extension of the date of mandatory issuance and transmission of electronic BRC’s on account of lack of readiness. Accordingly, it has been decided that existing system of physical BRC issuance from bank may be continued further for a period up to 16.08.2012 for smooth transition.
Notification No. 6 (RE-2012) /2009-2014 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 read with Section 3(2) of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) and also read with Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby deletes the entry at Point (ii) in the “Nature of Restriction” column [Column No. 6 of the table] against Sl. No. 57 in Chapter 10 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items relating to Basmati rice.
Notification No. 5 (RE-2012)/2009-2014 Export of Handmade Woolen Carpets, Handicraft items and Silk items etc. (details given above) shall not be permitted on the basis of Documents against Acceptance (D/A) except when covered by (a) Guarantee from Bank or ECGC or (b) made to own Subsidiaries etc.
Prohibition on import of milk and milk products (including chocolates and chocolate products and candies/ confectionary/ food preparations with milk or milk solids as an ingredient) from China is further extended till 23.6.2013 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies the Handbook of Procedures- Volume I (Appendices and Aayat Niryat Forms). This shall come into force with immediate effect, except Appendix 37A, 37C and 37D which will be deemed to have come into effect on 5th June, 2012.
