The one time registration for obtaining General SCOMET license is required to be obtained from DGFT for export under General authorization for export of Chemicals and related equipments (GAEC) separately for each Category/Sub-Category (i.e. one general license for each 1C , 1D, 1E, 3D001 and 3D004) falling under this policy.

Export Oriented Unit (EOU) is not entitled to claim refund of Terminal Excise Duty (TED) on its own, however, adds a caveat that EOU may avail of the entitlements of Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) supplier specified in Chapter 8 of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) on condition that it will not pass on that benefit back to DTA supplier later on.
The last date of submitting applications under MEIS, SEIS, ROSCTL, ROSL and 2% additional ad hoc incentive (under para 3.25 of FTP) which was earlier notified to be 31.12.2021 has been extended till 31.01.2022.
Manual/physical filing of EODC/closure applications under AA scheme is allowed for AAs issued before 1.12.2020. Exporters are also requested to update EODC/Closure status of earlier issued AAs in the online system by 31.3.2022.
