G.S.R. 819(E).In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Rubber Act, 1947 (XXIV of 1947), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rubber Rules, 1955, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Rubber (Amendment) Rules, 2023.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Rubber Rules, 1955, in rule 27A, for the words “Joint Secretary to the Government of India”, the words

“Deputy Secretary to the Government of India or above” shall be substituted.
