The Government of Maharashtra has issued Trade Circular No. 41 T of 2008 dated 18.12.2008 allowing the submission of VAT Audit Reports for the Financial Year 2007-2008 in old Form No.704 also.
It is clarified that the Audit Reports filed in the old Form No.704 before 10th November 2008, the date of notifing the new Form No.704, as well as after 10th November 2008 will be treated as valid.
This concession is applicable only for audit reports upto the Financial Year 2007-2008.
