SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA (PAYMENT OF FEES) (AMENDMENT)
REGULATIONS, 2022
No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2022/99.—In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 30 read with sub section (1) of Section 11, clause (ba) of sub-section (2) of Section 11 and sub-sections (1) and (1A) of Section 12 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), and under Section 25 of the Depositories Act, 1996 (22 of 1996), the Board hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Foreign Portfolio Investors) Regulations, 2019, and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Foreign Venture Capital Investors) Regulations, 2000, namely, —
1. These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2022.
2. They shall be deemed to have come into force on November 1, 2022.
Amendments to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Foreign Portfolio Investors) Regulations, 2019
3. In the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Foreign Portfolio Investors) Regulations, 2019, —
I. In Second Schedule, in Part A, in clause 1, the words and symbols “US $3000 and US $300” shall be substituted with “US $2500 and US $250”.
II. In Second Schedule, in Part C, in clause 1, the words and symbols “US $1000” shall be substituted with “US $800”.
Amendments to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Foreign Venture Capital Investors) Regulations, 2000
4. In the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Foreign Venture Capital Investors) Regulations, 2000, —
I. In Second Schedule, PART A shall be substituted with the following, namely —
