Subject: Extension of validity of Status Certificates issued in FY 2015-16 and 2016-17 under current FTP
F. No. 01/61/180/246/AM20/PC-3.—In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy (2015-2020), as amended from time to time, Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in para 3.20 (a) of the Handbook of Procedures, 2015-20 with immediate effect:

| 3.20 Validity of status certificate
(a) Status Certificates issued under this FTP shall be valid for a period of 5 years from the date on which application for recognition was filed or 30.06.2022 only whichever is later. |
