Dilip (Dead) Through Lrs. Vs Satish & Others (Supreme Court)

Supreme Court held that It is now well settled proposition of law that electricity is a basic amenity of which a person cannot be deprived. Electricity cannot be declined to a tenant on the ground of failure/refusal of the landlord to issue no objection certificate. All that the electricity supply authority is required to examine is whether the applicant for electricity connection is in occupation of the premises in question.

    ये एक दम गलत फैसला है कब्ज़े वाले लोग मकान मालिक को बहोत परेशान करते है मकान का मालिक बिजली इसिलए काटता है कि वो उस इंसान से दुकान खाली करा सके और ये मकान मालिक के साथ ना इंसाफी है
    इसलिये इस कानून को खरिज करो
