S.O. 3042(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act, 2019 (21 of 2019), the Central Government hereby designates, with immediate effect, the Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India (CERSAI) as the authority which shall create, maintain and operate an online database for information on deposit takers operating in India.
