Atlanta Limited Vs Union of India (Supreme Court of India)

Facts-

The respondent (Union of India) claimed that appellant completed the project after the target date. Appellant invoked the arbitration clause in the contract executed by the parties and sole arbitrator was appointed.

Two issues were raised before the Supreme Court-

1. Reasonableness of the extension of time and validity of the termination of contract on the part of the respondent (Union of India); and
