In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of Explanation 1 to sub-section (1) of section 54E of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies the ” 3-year HUDCO Capital Gains Debentures ” issued by the Housing & Urban Development Corporation Limited, for the purposes of the said clause.
