Public Notice No. 10/2015-20-DGFT

Subject :- Amendment in Para 2.20(b) of Handbook of Procedures (HBP) of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 regarding revalidation of Export Authorisation /License for Non-SCOMET and SCOMET item.

F.No. 01/77/180/03/AM20/EC(S)/E-file 18113.- In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-2020, the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) hereby makes amendments in Paragraph 2.20(b) of Handbook of Procedures (HBP) with immediate effect.

2. Sub para (b) of Para 2.20 of HBP of FTP 2015-2020 is amended as under:

Existing Para 2.20(b) of HBP Revised Para 2.20(b) of HBP
(b) Export Authorisation including for SCOMET items may be revalidated, on merits for a period of six months at a time and maximum upto 12 months by the RA concerned, except for cases in para 2.16(b) of HBP. (b) Export Authorisation, including for SCOMET items, may be revalidated, on merits for a period of six months at a time and maximum upto 12 months by the DGFT(Hqrs).

3. Effect of this Public Notice

Paragraph 2.20(b) of HBP of FTP 2015-2020 has been amended to allow revalidation of the Export Authorization / License for Non-SCOMET and SCOMET items from DGFT (Hors).
