Where Any Incriminating Material Was Not Found During The Course Of Search, The Completed Assessments Could Not Be Opened: Varun Beverages Appeal

In ACIT vs. Varun Beverages Ltd. [ITA Nos. 832, 863 & 864/Del/2015, A.Y.s: 2008-09 to 2010-11, decided on 20.11.2018], the three appeals by the Revenue were directed against the separate orders dated 14.11.2014 of the CIT(A)-31, Delhi relating to A.Y.s 2008-09, 2009-10 & 2010-11, respectively. Since identical grounds had been raised by the Revenue in all these appeals, therefore, these were heard together and were disposed of by the common order.
