Sub: Lodging of tax Arrear claim in respect of corporate cases filed under IBC- 2016 before NCLTs– reg.
Kindly refer to this office letters F No DIT(R)/BIFR/2017-18/813 dated 03-10-2017, F No DIT(R)/BIFR/2017-18/895 dated 17-10-2017 and F No DIT(R)/BIFR/2017-18/1003 dated 08-11-2017 on the captioned matter
2 The region wise jurisdiction of corporate cases updated on the website of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (www ibbi.gov in) from 01-11-2017 till 20-11-2017 has been ascertained from the CBN query in AIS module available in ITD and is enclosed herewith in Annexure-1 for necessary action at the end of the Assessing Officers. The concerned Assessing Officers have also been intimated about the pending action in these cases through their official e-mail ID as well as through speed post.
3 It is requested that the Assessing Officers in your region may kindly be directed to take necessary action in the above cases.
4 The Assessing Officer may please be directed to visit the website www ibbi gov in on daily basis to lodge claims relating to outstanding demands within stipulated period pertaining to cases listed on website of their charge, to protect the interest of revenue in accordance with the law as per the scheme of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code – 2016 without awaiting for any intimation in this regard from this directorate.
