Re: Grievance(s) faced by assessees regarding communication received from CPC Bengaluru
As you may be kindly aware, the Direct Taxes Committee of ICAI, has in all its endeavors, tried to strengthen the relationship between the taxpayers and the Department by submitting representations on various issues arising out of direct tax laws.
Recently, members are raising concerns regarding the problem faced by them in resolving the grievances in respect of Communication/ Order/ Notices received by the assessees from Centralised Processing Centre (CPC) Bengaluru. To resolve the same, the Committee has decided to bring such issues/ grievances to the notice of the Income-tax department/ CPC for the speedy redressal of the said issues.

The issues/ grievances so received will be forwarded to Income-tax department/ CPC for necessary action at their end.
It is pertinent to mention that the issues/ grievances would be taken up with the Income-tax department/ CPC periodically. May we therefore request you to kindly arrange to send your concerns by 15.03.2017.
