The Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued Public Notice No. 13/2004-2009 on 6th October 2004, under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I). This notice introduces amendments, additions, and corrections to the “Schedule of DEPB Rates,” aimed at refining the Duty Entitlement Passbook (DEPB) scheme. The updated schedule, annexed to the notice, outlines revised rates applicable for exporters to offset customs duties on imported inputs. In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes amendments/additions/corrections etc. in the Book titled Schedule of DEPB rates as annexed to this Public Notice.
