Notification No. 26/2004-Customs (N.T.)

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)  of section 156, read with Chapter XA of the Customs  Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, hereby makes the following rules to amend the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2003, namely:-

(1)

These rules  may be called the  Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Rules, 2004.

(2)

They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

In the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2003, in rule 1, in sub-rule (2), for the figures, letters and words “1st  day of March, 2004 “, the figures, letters and words “1st day of April, 2004 ” shall be substituted.
