Royal Enfield, a leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment, celebrated its 125th anniversary by unveiling new models at EICMA 2026 in Milan. The event showcased the company’s innovative approach to motorcycling while honouring its rich heritage. The highlight was the launch of the Himalayan 750, Royal Enfield’s first motorcycle featuring a 743cc twin engine. This model builds on the legacy of the original Himalayan, offering a robust and visceral riding experience designed for global adventure enthusiasts. The Himalayan 750 is available in various configurations, with prices starting at £6,999 in the UK.

In addition to the Himalayan 750, Royal Enfield introduced the Continental GT 750, a sportier version of its iconic café racer. This model features an enhanced 743cc engine and is available in both faired and unfaired variants. The Continental GT 750 is designed to deliver high performance while maintaining the brand’s classic styling. The motorcycle was presented in three colourways, reflecting a blend of retro aesthetics and modern engineering.

Royal Enfield also ventured into the electric motorcycle segment with the Flying Flea S6. This electric scrambler, part of the City+ range, is designed for urban exploration and off-road adventures. It features a high-torque motor and lightweight construction, making it suitable for both new and experienced riders. The Flying Flea S6 will be available in Dart Yellow and Lightning Grey and is set to launch in the summer of 2027.

The company further expanded its offerings with the limited edition Shotgun 650 ‘Son of a Gun’, in collaboration with Deus Ex Machina, and the 1901 apparel collection, which introduces a refreshed brand identity. These initiatives underscore Royal Enfield’s commitment to blending tradition with modernity, catering to a diverse and evolving customer base.

Analysts view Royal Enfield’s latest launches as a strategic move to strengthen its position in the global motorcycle market. By expanding its product range and embracing electric mobility, the company aims to attract a broader audience while staying true to its core philosophy of ‘Pure Motorcycling’.
