CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited has reported a strong performance for the second quarter and half-year ending 30th September 2026. The company achieved a 32% year-on-year increase in sales, reaching INR 3,505 crore, and a 46% rise in profit after tax (PAT), amounting to INR 450 crore. This impressive growth continues the momentum seen in previous quarters, driven by disciplined execution and robust demand across its business segments.

The company’s order intake for the quarter surged by 90% year-on-year, with a backlog of INR 21,820 crore, providing multi-quarter revenue visibility. The power systems segment saw a notable 41% increase in sales, supported by strong execution and demand, while the industrial systems segment achieved a 25% growth in sales. CG Power’s EBITDA for the quarter stood at INR 637 crore, representing an EBITDA margin of 18.2%, up from 16.4% in the same period last year.

In addition to its financial achievements, CG Power has made strategic advancements in its operations. The company inaugurated India’s largest transformer manufacturing facility in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, in September 2026. This greenfield facility, capable of producing 35 power transformers monthly, enhances India’s power infrastructure capabilities. Furthermore, CG Power’s subsidiary, Axiro Semiconductor Private Limited, acquired Tosil Systems Private Limited, expanding its semiconductor and embedded engineering services portfolio.

The company is also investing in capacity expansion projects to meet growing demand. These include increasing manufacturing capacity for OIP bushings and instrument transformers, enhancing EHV circuit breaker production, and expanding the GIS division. These initiatives are expected to bolster CG Power’s production capabilities and cater to both domestic and export markets.

Analysts view CG Power’s performance as a reflection of its strategic focus on expanding manufacturing capabilities and capturing market demand. The company’s strong order book and ongoing investments in capacity expansion are anticipated to sustain its growth trajectory in the coming quarters.
