Shriram Finance Limited has announced several key decisions following its Board of Directors meeting on 23rd October 2026. The board approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the second quarter and half-year ending 30th September 2026. Additionally, the company declared an interim dividend of 325%, translating to Rs.6.50 per equity share of face value Rs.2 each, subject to tax deductions at source. The dividend will be distributed to shareholders listed in the company’s register by 29th October 2026, with payouts expected before 20th November 2026.

In a strategic move to bolster its financial resources, Shriram Finance has approved a periodical resource mobilisation plan. This plan involves the issuance of debt securities, including redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs), subordinated debentures, bonds, and notes, either through private placement or public issue. The issuance is set to occur in multiple tranches from 1st November 2026 to 31st January 2027. The company also seeks shareholder approval via a postal ballot for renewing its limit to issue debentures on a private placement basis up to Rs.35,000 crore.

Furthermore, the board has appointed Mr. Panakala Raju M as the Chief Software Officer, following the Nomination & Remuneration Committee’s recommendation. Mr. Raju brings nearly three decades of IT industry experience, with expertise in technology architecture and enterprise solutions. His appointment is expected to enhance Shriram Finance’s technological capabilities and strategic vision.

The company has also confirmed no deviation in the utilisation of proceeds from previous financial activities, ensuring transparency and compliance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations. The unaudited financial results, along with related disclosures, will be published in newspapers and uploaded on the company’s website as per regulatory requirements.

Analysts view these developments as a positive step towards strengthening Shriram Finance’s financial position and operational efficiency. The interim dividend announcement reflects the company’s robust financial health, while the debt issuance plan indicates a strategic approach to funding future growth initiatives.
