The Government of India, through the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), has issued Notification No. 74/2025-26 dated March 31, 2026, extending the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme for a further period of six months. The scheme will now remain in force from April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, for all eligible export products. During this extended period, the existing rates and value caps as specified in Appendix 4R and Appendix 4RE, effective as of March 31, 2026, will continue without any modification. Additionally, all other terms and conditions governing the scheme will remain unchanged. The notification clarifies that eligible exports made within this six-month window will continue to receive RoDTEP benefits at the prevailing rates, ensuring continuity and certainty for exporters relying on these incentives under the existing framework of the Foreign Trade Policy.

Subject: Continuation of RoDTEP Scheme beyond March 31, 2026

S.O. 1857(E).—  In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, read with Para 1.02 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme:

The RoDTEP Scheme shall continue for all eligible export products for a further period of six months with effect from April 01, 2026, to September 30, 2026.

The rates and value caps as notified in Appendix 4R and Appendix 4RE, as applicable on March 31, 2026, shall continue unchanged during the aforesaid period.

The other terms and conditions governing the Scheme shall remain unchanged.

Effect of this notification: Eligible exports made during the period from 01.04.2026 to 30.09.2026 shall continue to be entitled to RoDTEP benefit at the rates and value caps in force as on 31.03.2026. subject to the existing terms and conditions of the Scheme.
