We advise that the Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited has been included in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 vide Notification DBR.PSBD.No.7144/16.02.002/2016-17 dated December 23, 2016, and published in the Gazette of India (Part III – Section 4) dated February 4- February 10, 2017.
On a review, it has been decided to increase the quantum of loan that could be granted under the scheme, from Rs.1.00 lakh to Rs.2.00 lakh subject to the following conditions:

The date of submission of life certificate by pensioners under Employees’ Pension Scheme 1995 was extended upto 28.02.2017 vide Head Office letter Pension-I/17(1) 2016/Jeevan/Pramaan/613 dated 16.01.2017 in order to facilitate the pensioners to submit life certificate through Aadhaar based Jeevan Pramaan system during the extended period.
In partial modification of Para 2 of the circular IMD/FII&C/30/2008 dated July 21, 2008, it has been decided that the custodians shall submit the monthly reports latest by either the end of the third working day of the succeeding month or the 5th of the succeeding month, whichever is later.

The Authority had issued “Guidelines on Appointment of Appointed Actuaries and their Mentors” on 22nd March 2016 to address the supply side gap by supporting young Actuaries with the Mentors. Based on experience and the issues emerged over a period of time, the Authority has proposed to revise the above-mentioned guidelines.
Based on the experience gained, since the last amendment effected in the year 2013, the Authority felt that there is a need to amend the IRDA (Appointed Actuary), Regulations, 2000. The basic framework for appointment of Appointed Actuaries and their duties, functions etc. is prescribed in the aforementioned Regulations.
SEBI vide circulars no. CIR/MRD/DP/03/2013 January 24, 2013, and no CIR/MRD/DP/ 27 /2013 dated September 12, 2013 issued guidelines for providing dedicated debt segment in the stock exchange for trading, clearing and settlement of debt securities including trading, clearing and settlement of corporate bonds.
