ORDER NO. 4/FT&TR/2012 [F.No. 500/15/2011-FT&TR-I], dated 10-4-2012 In partial modification of order No.1/FT&TR/2012 and order No. 2/FT&TR/2012, and in exercise of powers conferred under section 144C of the Income-tax Act, 1961, the Board hereby constitutes the Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP) comprising of three Commissioners of Income-tax/Directors of Income-tax as Members of DRP at the places given below, who shall perform such duties in addition to their regular duties with immediate effect and until further order:
It shall be the responsibility of the Assessing Officer and the TRO to collect every demand that has been raised, except the following : (a) Demand which has not fallen due;(b) Demand which has been stayed by a Court or ITAT or Settlement Commission;(c) Demand for which a proper proposal for write-off has been submitted;(d) Demand stayed in accordance with paras B & C below.
CBDT Circular No. 01/2012 All deductors (including government deductors who deposit TDS in the Central Government Account through book entry) shall issue TDS certificate in Form No. 16A generated through TIN central system and which is downloaded from the TIN website with a unique TDS certificate number in respect of all sums deducted on or after the 1st day of April, 2012 under any of the provisions of Chapter-XVII-B other than section 192. In other words, the issuance of duty verified TDS certificate in Form No. 16A, by the deductor of any category shall henceforth by only through TIN Central System. The deductor shall therefore, download such certificate from the TIN Central System, verify the correctness of the contents mentioned therein and authenticate the correctness of the contents before issue of the said certificate.
