SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA (REGULATORY FEE ON
STOCK EXCHANGES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2015
No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2015-16/015. -In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 read with clause (k) of sub-section (2) of section 11 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, the Securities and Exchange Board of India hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Regulatory Fee on Stock Exchanges) Regulations, 2006, namely:—
1. These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Regulatory Fee on Stock Exchanges) (Amendment) Regulations, 2015.
2. They shall come into force on the 28th day of September, 2015.
3. In the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Regulatory Fee on Stock Exchanges) Regulations, 2006, in regulation 4, in sub-regulation(1), –
(i) in the Explanation, for the symbol “.”, the symbol “:” shall be substituted;
(ii) after the Explanation, the following shall be inserted, namely:-
“Provided that for a period of two years from the date of commencement of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Regulatory Fee on Stock Exchanges) (Amendment) Regulations, 2015, a regional commodity derivatives exchange shall pay to the Board, an annual regulatory fee of fifty thousand rupees, within thirty days of conclusion of the relevant financial year.”

2. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Regulatory Fee on Stock Exchanges) Regulations, 2006 were subsequently amended on 23rd May, 2014 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2014 vide No. LAD-NRO/GN/2014-1 5/03/1089.
