List of Regulations decided by SEBI to be amended by Securities and Exchange Board of India (Regulatory Sandbox) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020

The pandemic has cast its shadow across various economic activities with massive dislocation in global production, supply chains and trade. In wake of the current nationwide lock down of 21 days as directed by Government of India due to issue of Covid-19, a need has been felt to extend the timelines for processing of various investor requests pertaining to Compliance and disclosures to be made under SEBI Regulations and various SEBI circulars. Also, SEBI feels to amend various regulations as per the need of the time. Thus, SEBI vide Circular No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2020/10 dated 18.04.2020 after considering the current situation due to COVID 19 states in exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 (42 of 1956), section 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) and section 25 of the Depositories Act, 1996 (22 of 1996), the Board hereby makes the following Regulations to further amend:

1. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Stock Brokers) Regulations, 1992,

2. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Merchant Bankers) Regulations, 1992,

3. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Debenture Trustees) Regulations, 1993,

4. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Underwriters) Regulations, 1993,

5. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Registrars to an Issue and Share Transfer Agents) Regulations, 1993, Securities and Exchange Board of India (Bankers to an Issue) Regulations, 1994,

6. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996,

7. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Custodian) Regulations, 1996,

8. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Credit Rating Agencies) Regulations, 1999,

9. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Collective Investment Scheme) Regulations, 1999,

10. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Foreign Venture Capital Investor) Regulations, 2000,

11. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Sweat Equity) Regulations, 2002,

12. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Central Database of Market Participants) Regulations, 2003,

13. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue and Listing of Securitised Debt Instruments and Security Receipts) Regulations, 2008,

14. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue and Listing of Debt Securities) Regulations, 2008,

15. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Intermediaries) Regulations, 2008,

16. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Delisting of Equity Shares) Regulations, 2009,

Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue and Listing of Municipal Debt Securities) Regulations, 2015, Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) Regulations, 2018,

27. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, Securities and Exchange Board of India (Depositories and Participants) Regulations, 2018,

28. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Buy-back of Securities) Regulations, 2018,

29. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Foreign Portfolio Investors) Regulations, 2019 and

30. Securities and Exchange Board of India Portfolio Managers) Regulations, 2020, namely, –

> These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Regulatory Sandbox) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020.

> They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
