The President of India is pleased to appoint Shri Sushil Chandra, IRS (IT : 1980) presently Member, Central Board of Direct Taxes, as Chairperson of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance in the pay scale of Rs. 80,000/- (fixed) (pre revised) with the status of Special Secretary to the Government of India w.e.f, 01.11.2016 against the vacancy arising upon superannuation of Ms. Rani Singh Nair, IRS (IT:1979) on 31.10.2016 or from the date of his taking charge of the post, until further orders or hls superannuation, whichever is earlier.
