It is notified for general information that M/s. Parashwanath Housing Finance Corporation Limited, Harsiddha Chambers, 3rd Floor, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad-380 014 have been approved by the Central Government as a housing finance company for the purposes of section 36(1)(viii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for the assessment years 1995-96 and 1996-97.
2. The approval is subject to the condition that the company will conform to and comply with the provisions of section 36(1)(viii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, and the not less than 75 per cent. of investible funds continued are utilised for providing long-term housing finance for residential purposes.
