The Trick seems to be not working nowadays for most of the HUF Assessees whose Incorporation date as per PAN Card is Ancestral. It seems the main reason for that is that although on PAN card their date of incorporation is ‘ANCESTRAL’ but as per income tax records it is a specific date. The question here now is how to register such Assessee on Income Tax e-filing website?
Answer: – In such cases Assessee should call the CPC helpline on 1800 425 2229 and they will tell you the date of incorporation as records with them after asking few questions related to the Assessee. Once you have the date of incorporation you can Register HUF Assessee on Income Tax e-filing website.

my huf incorporation date is required
Date of Incorporation should be recorded as mentioned on the PAN Card. In case the word
ANCESTRAL or a year beginning with 0 is mentioned on the PAN Card then the date should be
recorded as 01/01/1961.
I had mentioned 01010001 as DOB For HUF pan
Sadly it got printed as 01012001 and on checking with PAN HELP
the senior told me that as there was no provision in the system the it dept people started registering them as 01012001

It does work on incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/.
